Use & Safety Instructions
A little preparation makes room for a lot of fun. Please read these instructions before your rental and share them with every adult supervising the equipment.
Weather: know when to stop
- Wind: Stop use and help everyone exit when winds or gusts reach 15 mph, or sooner if conditions become unsafe. Follow any lower manufacturer limit. Do not rely on the inflatable looking stable.
- Thunder, lightning, or heavy rain: Stop play immediately and move everyone to a substantial building or an enclosed hard-topped vehicle. An inflatable, tent, or open shelter is not lightning protection. Wait at least 30 minutes after the last thunder before considering outdoor use again, and only resume when all conditions are safe.
- Empty first, then shut down: Once everyone is out, turn off the blower if it is safe to do so. Never switch it off while anyone is inside or on the inflatable. Do not touch wet electrical equipment or put yourself at risk to shut it down.
- Contact Foothills Bounce & Play before restarting after severe weather, movement of the unit, or an anchoring concern.
Safe play starts with supervision
- An attentive adult must supervise at all times. Follow the number and placement of attendants specified for your rental. Stop unsafe behavior immediately.
- Follow the posted capacity. Use the rider count, weight, height, and age limits on the specific unit. Group riders of similar size; do not mix larger jumpers with small children.
- No wrestling, roughhousing, flips, pushing, or climbing on walls, netting, roofs, or outside surfaces.
- Keep entrances, exits, and landing areas clear. Keep spectators away from blowers, cords, stakes, ropes, and anchors.
- If the inflatable loses air or power, help everyone exit immediately. Keep everyone off and call us. Do not restart until the cause has been addressed and the unit is fully inflated and ready for use.
Water slides, dry slides & obstacle courses
- Follow the posted riding position and lane rules. Slide feet first, seated; never head first. Wait until the landing area is clear before the next rider starts.
- No climbing up slide lanes, jumping from platforms, diving, or standing in splash pools. Keep water landing areas supervised and clear.
- Use water only on units booked and approved for wet use. Do not add soap, oils, or other products to make a slide slippery.
- Follow the unit-specific clothing and footwear instructions given at delivery, including socks for dry-use units where required.
Please keep these out
- Shoes, sharp objects, jewelry, glasses, and loose items that could injure someone or damage the inflatable.
- Food, drinks, gum, pets, confetti, silly string, and face paint.
- Fireworks, grills, smoking, open flames, and other heat sources near the equipment.
Get your space ready
- Mow grass one or two days before delivery and clear away clippings, pet waste, rocks, furniture, and other obstacles.
- Provide the clear setup area listed for your rental, including overhead clearance. Tell us about slopes, access limitations, overhead lines, and underground utilities or irrigation before setup.
- Leave installation to our crew. Do not move the inflatable or alter, remove, or adjust stakes, sandbags, tie-downs, blowers, or cords. If anything loosens or shifts, stop use and call us.
- Jurassic Adventure full WET unit: Outdoor setup requires grass where stakes are permitted. Pavement, gravel, and grass without stakes are not available for this unit. Indoor requests require advance approval.
- Have the electrical outlets and circuits required by your listing available within 75 feet of the setup area. Our crew must approve the power supply and cord arrangement. Do not add extension cords, overload circuits, or bypass electrical protection.
- For a water rental, have a garden hose connected to a working spigot and long enough to reach the setup location.
Overnight & unattended equipment
Never leave an operating inflatable unattended. When play ends, remove everyone, shut down as demonstrated by our crew, and prevent access to the deflated equipment. For water units, follow the water shutoff and pool-draining instructions provided at delivery. Before the next use, follow our restart instructions and check for damage or loose anchoring. Call us if anything has changed.
